This book, written by Daniel A. Lilley, is designed to provide an understanding of process improvement methods, how to support improvement teams, what training to provide, and how to ensure that process improvement efforts are complementary and not contradictory. It will help ascertain the best form of business process improvement to initiate, describe what must be accomplished prior to the improvement effort, and explain how to support the process. A new methodology, the rapid-BPR, will be introduced and defined. This book will help the executive see how to use the improvement team for maximum advantage, understand which redesign technique to use and how to use it, and explain how to prepare and what to expect.
