Airline Intelligence Systems has developed jetEngine™ O/S, a unique business platform that is revolutionizing the integration and control of the airline industry’s main business functions. Still a fledgling company, we are already making waves in a $500 billion industry and are poised for explosive growth.

Airline Intelligence Systems, an airline platform solutions company, is seeking Operations Research professionals to join its core Technology team. The core Technology team is responsible for the product definition, market positioning, structure, architecture and behavior of the integrated platform that runs the airline.

As a member of this team you will work closely with the development team and use General Systems Type III analytic tools that include Dynamic Programming techniques and Game Theory together with large scale mathematical and systems modeling and simulation of stochastic processes.

The core Technology team also provides pre-sales and post-sales consulting and technical support. You will be required to provide technical presentations, product demonstrations and develop proof-of-concept prototypes.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or Operations Research.
  • The ability to use computer-based tools and programming languages to implement solutions is required. Experience solving large-scale problems and familiarity with the airline industry are a plus.
  • Extensive large system simulation and stochastic process modeling required.
  • Knowledge of General Systems Theory and Game Theory a plus.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with varied audience.

Additional "good to have" abilities:

  • Exposure to .NET
  • 2+ years in a consulting or similar role
  • Explaining highly technical solutions to non-technical audiences
  • Business-orientation; desire to be more than simply technical contributor
  • Experience applying statistical OR techniques, e.g., simulation and forecasting
  • Exposure to software design and architecture issues
