Duties & Responsibilities:
Use C++ or Java programming languages, optimization tools (such as CPLEX, OPL, or Concert), and SAS or Perl data-manipulation techniques to design, develop, implement, and integrate innovative computer-based decision tools. Apply operations research methodologies, including linear programming, integer programming, and network programming, to develop complex mathematical models that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of performance metrics by creating more cost effective, timely solutions. Collaborate with various business units to develop decision systems and present proposed business solutions to senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Master?s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, plus one year of research experience using optimization tools. Demonstrated experience with (i) C++ or Java programming languages, (ii) CPLEX, OPL, or Concert optimization tools, and (iii) data manipulation using SAS or Perl. Must have completed courses in or have experience with linear programming, integer programming, and networks.
