Position in Supply Chain Management/Finance

Cass Business School, City University London invites applications for a supply chain management/finance position at the lecturer (assistant professor) or senior lecturer (associate professor) level. The position is scheduled to begin autumn 2010. We will start accepting applications around March 2010 with interviews anticipated around May.

We are looking to hire someone who is a well-trained researcher with a demonstrated potential to publish in top-tier journals while engaging with practitioners in the City (the financial district in London), a lecturer with a demonstrated ability to teach effectively at undergraduate and masters' levels, and, quite importantly, a good colleague who will participate in joint research and teaching with other members within the Operations and Supply Chain Management group. Interest in supply-chain-related finance or risk using pertinent mathematical-modelling- or empirically-driven approach is desirable. The candidate should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline or be close to completion.
