The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech invites applications for up to two visiting faculty positions. The anticipated start date is the beginning of the fall semester, 2010. Duration of an appointment will be one academic year, with possible extension to a second academic year. The anticipated teaching load is three teaching assignments an academic year with two of these assignments being different sections of the same course. Qualified applicants with diverse backgrounds and interests are welcome. The School will consider applicants from all research areas, including economic decision analysis, health systems, logistics, manufacturing, quantitative and computational finance, optimization, statistics, simulation, and stochastics with particular interest in those applicants with backgrounds and teaching interests in simulation and stochastics. Appointments may be made at a rank commensurate with the individual's record. Georgia Tech offers a competitive benefits package.
