Applications are invited for the post of Chair in Management Science in the Department of Management. The post will commence on 1 July 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter. Candidates will be of international standing in research in the area of Management Science. The post holder will be expected to contribute towards the scholarship and intellectual life of the School and provide academic leadership within the Department.

The appointment can be in any field in Management Science. The applicant should have a distinguished record of scholarship; specifically, he or she should have a sustained record of publication in journals such as Management Science, Operations Research, Mathematical Programming, Mathematics of Operations Research, or journals of equivalent quality. The successful candidate will be expected to build and lead a team of graduate students in Ph.D. research.
