The Department of Finance and Risk Engineering's fast-growing Financial Engineering [FE] Programs at Polytechnic University is located in the heart of Manhattan's Wall Street District. The Department offers a Master's Degree and Certificates. The Master of Science in Financial Engineering has "Tracks" in Financial Markets, Financial Information Services and Technology and Computational Finance. Polytechnic University also offers three advanced graduate Certificates in Financial Engineering, Risk Management and Financial Technology Management.

The Department has a faculty opening for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor. The position is for a professor with research focus and teaching interests in corporate finance, derivative markets, investments and econometrics or alternatively in Financial Information Services and Technology, including electronic markets, algorithmic trading and financial decision support systems. A Ph.D. or its equivalent in Finance or Financial Engineering is required. Industry experience is desirable but not necessary. Salary commensurate with rank and experience.
