Department of Management Science & Innovation UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON University College London (UCL), located in central London, is one of the foremost research and teaching institutions in the world, and is part of the University of London. UCL has 19,000 students and 4,000 academic staff in 72 departments. It has the highest number of professors of any university in the UK. Academic staff or former students of UCL have won 19 Nobel Prizes. The department of Management Science and Innovation at University College London is launching a brand new PhD Program, and is inviting applications for positions in the research area of Management Science & Operations Research, and Technology & Innovation Management. Funding is available for qualified candidates. The Department of Management Science & Innovation is the UCL partner in the growing strategic alliance between UCL and London Business School, capitalizing on research and educational synergies between these two world-class institutions, with several faculty members holding appointments between UCL and London Business School. The flagship post-graduate program offered by the department is the Technology Entrepreneurship masters degree. During the summer of 2008, MS&I will move to a new state-of-the-art building dedicated to the Department.
