Union Pacific Railroad, a Fortune 200 company and largest railroad in North America has immediate openings for Operations Research Analyst/Developers. Positions are located in Omaha, Nebraska.

As a member of the Operations Research team, you will be responsible for solving complex business problems through the evaluation and application of advanced technologies.

Required Education:

• Masters degree in either Operations Research, Management Science, Industrial Engineering or related field. PhD preferred.
• Significant experience beyond the stated requirements will be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree

Desired Experience:

• Two years experience in one or more of the following: Algorithm Design, Rule-Based Development, application of Optimization techniques.
• Four years hands-on OR experience/projects.
• Five years Java or C++ experience
• Three years large scale systems development experience
