The Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California will fill a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor focusing on health systems, particularly health informatics; or operations research, particularly logistics. The Epstein department has academic and research programs in all major ISE sub-disciplines. Details about the department's programs can be found at http://www.usc.edu/dept/ise/. Candidates must have an exceptional research record, and a strong interest in teaching. The US News and World Report consistently ranks the Viterbi School's graduate program in the nation's top ten. The Epstein Department currently ranks 14th. The School's faculty counts 168 tenure track members, including 17 members of the National Academy of Engineering, and 54 Early Career Award Viterbi School's research expenditures approach $170 million annually.
