OR/MS Today Call for Papers Posted: 8/13/05 International Journal of Inventory Research The International Journal of Inventory Research (IJIR) is a new journal dedicated to publishing contemporary, cutting-edge research on all aspects of inventory theory. The objective of IJIR is to promote and stimulate innovative inventory research and its application for improving the productivity, customer satisfaction and competitiveness of manufacturing firms, retailers, logistics providers, and all organisations that manage inventories. Although the journal will maintain a focus on inventory theory, it will deal with operational as well as strategic issues, with specific inventory models as well as general supply-chain issues, with firm-level as well as macroeconomic perspectives. The International Journal of Inventory Research will publish original, high-quality research. Thus, submitted papers should not have been previously published nor currently be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submitted papers will undergo a double-blind refereeing process. Additional information about the journal and instructions for submitting papers can be obtained through the Inderscience Publishers website at http://www.inderscience.com/ijir/. Any questions about the journal may be directed to the editor at urbantl@utulsa.edu.
