ICS Nominations



Nominations are invited for the INFORMS Computing Society (ICS) Prize. ICS is the new Society designation for the former INFORMS Computer Science Technical Section (CSTS).

The prize will be awarded at the Spring 1999 INFORMS meeting in Cincinnati.

Objectives of the Prize are:
  • To promote the development of high-quality work advancing the state-of-the-art in the operations research/computer science interface.

  • To publicize and reward the contributions of those authors and researchers who have advanced the state-of-the-art.

  • To increase the visibility of excellent and noteworthy work in the field.
Send four copies of the nominated work to the chairman of the ICS Prize committee: Professor Warren P. Adams, Department of Mathematical Sciences, Clemson University, Clemson, SC 29634-1907, Ph: (864) 656-5192; E-mail: wadams@clemson.edu

The deadline is Feb. 15, 1999.
