April 1999 Call for Papers Special Issue of The Journal of Information Technology and Management Enterprise Data Management continues to be a major challenge for organizations despite four decades of significant achievements in the field. The challenges involve the increasing size of the organizational databases, increasing demands on the organizational databases, increasing heterogeneity of the database environment, and most importantly, the interaction among these three challenges. This special issue of The Journal of Information Technology and Management will cover both the technical and organizational issues relating to these challenges.
