A search committee is now soliciting nominations for the next editor-in-chief of Organization Science. Applicants are requested to submit a statement addressing the following questions:
  • What experiences do you have that the Search Committee should consider you as a candidate?
  • What do you envision as the future of Organization Science, particularly with respect to its targeted readership, its relationship to other organization science publications and its relationship to INFORMS and its publications?
  • What do you see as the role of electronic publishing?
  • What do you see as the major strengths of Organization Science, and how would you build on these? Weaknesses? How would you work to remedy these?
  • How would you change the editorial direction (regarding topics, theory and methods) of Organization Science?
  • How do you view the roles of the editor-in-chief and the senior editors and how they interact? What should be the criteria and process for selecting Senior Editors and Editorial Board members?
  • What improvements would help achieve consistently high quality and fair reviews? What procedures would you suggest to reduce review times and the time between acceptance and publication? Are there other ways in which the journal could better serve authors and readers?
