Instron Selects IEC for Volume Electronics Manufacturing Services

IEC Electronics Corp. (Newark, N.Y.; www.iec-electronics.com) named Instron Corporation (Canton, Mass.; www.instron.com) its key electronics manufacturing service provider.
IEC will manufacture printed circuit boards and provide complete systems build for over two-dozen products. Instron is a worldwide supplier of instruments, systems, software and accessories used to evaluate the mechanical properties and performance of virtually all of the earth's natural and man-made materials.
IEC's President and CEO Thomas Lovelock said, "Instron's confidence in IEC further supports our strategy of focusing on companies in the industrial sector. We are now supporting a wide variety of products and new customers within the industrial segment allowing us to broaden our customer base and reduce variability caused by concentration in one specific segment.
