SCS Signs Deal With Frontec

Structured Computer Systems (SCS) (Avon, Conn.; www.scsinfo.com), a provider of procurement and materials management software, has selected AMTrix 4.2 software from Frontec AMT (Stamford, Conn.; www.frontec.com), a provider of extended application integration software, to develop an application connector for the SCS Reality procurement automation software. The deal will allow SCS customers to link Reality with systems supported by AMTrix, including IBM's MQ Series, SAP R/3, Oracle, J.D. Edwards' OneWorld, and other packaged applications.
SCS will use the AMTrix message broker software system to develop a connector to readily integrate numerous applications and further streamline the procurement process. The connector will make it easier for SCS customers to visually define data maps and communications workflow between Reality and other enterprise application environments.
AMTrix provides the tools to build, manage and operate solutions that bridge the gaps between hardware platforms, databases, messaging formats and communications methods.
