Hayes-Lemmerz Selects CMI's TRANS4M

Hayes-Lemmerz International Inc.'s Brake Business Unit (Homer, Mich. facility) has selected CMI-Competitive Solutions Inc.'s TRANS4M (www.trans4m.com) product, a fully integrated enterprise resource planning solution for repetitive automotive suppliers.
The final decision to purchase the TRANS4M product was made by the brake unit president, Mish Jaksic. The factors that weighed heavily in the decision to purchase the TRANS4M product, included: the complete integration, the automotive-only functionality, part-number vs. work order-based, and the visibility of scrap.
Hayes-Lemmerz is a supplier of automotive and commercial highway wheels and brake products. The Homer, Mich., facility supplies brake drums and rotors to the original equipment manufacturers and to Continental Brake. CMI has installed TRANS4M at nearly 400 sites. The company is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich.
