German ERP Firm Enters U.S. Market

Psipenta Systems http://www.psipenta.com, a Berlin, Germany-based provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for the midsize capital equipment industry, will make its formal entry into the U.S. market with the opening of its Westwood, Mass., headquarters office. Psipenta and its parent, PSI AG, are considered leading European solution providers and consulting organizations for the engineer-to-order, project-based manufacturing market.

Psipenta has entered the U.S. market to achieve a market leading position in its target market here — the midsize capital equipment manufacturing industry. More than 300 industrial companies — categorized in the markets of engineer-to-order, configure-to-order and make-to-order production — in 17 countries use Psipenta's PSIPENTA ERP solutions.

Psipenta, the second-largest German ERP software company, targets several industries, including industrial machinery and tools, transport and heavy equipment, instrumentation, process controls and robotics, electronic and communications equipment, and facility construction.
