NAM and GP Team Up to Educate Manufacturers

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) http://www.nam.org and GP (General Physics Corp.) http://www.genphysics.org, the principal operating subsidiary of GP Strategies Corp. and provider of training, engineering and technical support services, have formed an alliance to offer a wide spectrum of education and training services to manufacturers across the country.

Through the NAM/GP alliance, NAM member companies will receive preferred pricing on GP's training services and products, including training on process and production skills, regulatory compliance, information technology and productivity improvement.

Training programs will be available to companies of all sizes via satellite through the Workplace Training Network, which will help serve the special needs of small and midsized manufacturers in particular. The NAM and GP also plan to create a "NAM Virtual University" to provide more extensive educational services to NAM members and their employees.
