Global management consulting firm PRTM http://www.prtm.com/ has announced the formation of a new subsidiary, The Performance Measurement Group, LLC. The Performance Measurement Group (PMG) offers the first online benchmarking subscription series to measure companies' performance in two core business processes: product development and supply-chain management.

PMG will provide participants with confidential, customized benchmarking analysis online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, starting with the first two-year subscription cycle in 1999-2000.

The Supply-Chain Management Benchmarking Series now accepting subscribers is mapped to SCOR, the Supply-Chain Operations Reference-model. The second series, The Product Development Benchmarking Series, which will begin accepting subscribers in June, is mapped to the PACE (Product and Cycle-time Excellence) methodology developed and refined by PRTM over the last decade. Other series in customer service/support and marketing/sales will be offered in later years.
