Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd. http://www.tecnomatix.com, pioneer and provider of Computer-Aided Production Engineering (CAPE) solutions, has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire Unicam Software Inc. http://www.unicam.com, a privately-held company based in Portsmouth, N.H., for approximately $24 million.

Unicam is a provider of production engineering software solutions to the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly market, the same segment of the electronics industry that Tecnomatix addresses with its EXALINE products. Tecnomatix will continue to develop, market and support the two product lines as a combined operation under the management of Michael Marsh, Unicam's founder and president.
