Lucent Technologies (Omaha, Neb.; www.lucent.com) has successfully completed phase one installation of Majure Data's (Roswell, Ga.; www.majuredata.com) warehouse management system (WMS), RF Navigator, with SAP R/3. This recent implementation assimilates Lucent's planning, warehousing, distribution and financial processes.

Majure Data, a participant in SAP's Complementary Software Program, used its SAP-certified interface to integrate RF Navigator with R/3 for Lucent's Omaha plant, and delivered a turnkey solution of software, hardware, implementation services and SAP consulting.

Majure Data's RF Navigator resides on a HP 9000 UNIX server and uses more than 300 LXE RF terminals to manage material flow in raw materials, WIP, and finished goods environments. Lucent's Omaha plant manufactures and distributes telecommunications equipment.

Currently in its 8th release, RF Navigator is designed for distributors and manufacturers that need a comprehensive and standard WMS that can be installed without extensive modifications. For more than 18 years, Majure Data has implemented RF Navigator for clients of various sizes and industries, including AlliedSignal, Goodyear, Siemens Automotive and Schreiber Foods.
