Eskay Announces its Automated Material Handling Offering

Eskay (Salt Lake City; www.eskay.com/cfa) announced its offering of a combination of automated material handling systems that support pallet, case, piece picking, or a combination of all three for filling individual and commercial e-commerce.
The MSS II high-speed box buffer lets workers access thousands of SKUs in seconds and can be used to automatically replenish flow racks for piece picking. At the flow racks, Eskay's Digital Pick pick-to-light system verifies each pick to ensure accuracy. Its carrier-on-wire system without cables speeds installation and allows easy reconfiguration as the product mix changes.
High speed conveyors and sorters send picked orders to consolidation and shipping. The sliding shoe sorter can sort individual items as well as medium-size cases at 6,000-12,000 pieces per hour. Warehouse Rx Management System controls the automated equipment, directs order picking, and provides real-time inventory control.
