March 4, 1998 New Products OverQuota OverQuota 4.6, a Lotus Notes-based sales force automation software tool, now incorporates tools for transaction processing, sales and opportunity analysis, knowledge management, and customer care. Release 4.6 leverages a customer relationship management (CRM) architecture -- code-named iCARE -- that enables corporate access to the Web, multiple platforms and CRM solution integration. Using Lotus Domino.Connect, information is shared between OverQuota and ERP systems like SAP's R/3. With OverQuota + SAP, users can remotely retrieve, analyze and update data from R/3. Information such as order status, customer credit/receivable information, order entry, quotes, product availability, contact information (synchronized) and account sales history become readily available.
