March 23, 1998 New Products MRP9000 MRP9000 version 3.6, released by Intuitive Manufacturing Systems Inc. (Kirkland, Wash.; www.MRP9000.com), is a Windows-based ERP/MRPII system that now includes drill-down capability in accounting, inventory availability and MRP planning reports. The addition of drill-down financial statements, including the Income Statement and Balance Sheet, allows MRP9000 users to view the statement on-screen, and to double-click any line of the statement to drill-down to the trial balance, and then into detailed information for all accounts. The new version also offers new installation procedures, featuring "push" installations and updates. MRP9000 3.6 users will be able to install the system once on the server, eliminating the need to install client versions on each computer. In addition, when the client databases are modified on the server, the client workstations copy these changes automatically, preventing the need to copy the modified version to each computer.
