June 2, 1998 New Products AutoManager WorkFlow AutoManager WorkFlow 6.0 from Cyco Software (Atlanta, Ga.; www.cyco.com) is the latest version of document management software for CAD and engineering environments. New enhancements include: support for Autodesk's Mechanical Desktop 2.0, IntelliCAD 98, direct scanning compatibility, and the AutoManager Internet Publishing Tool. With the Mechanical Desktop 2.0 support in AM-WorkFlow 6.0, users can browse through and view the product structure of a Mechanical Desktop drawing, jump to sub-assembly drawings and find where sub-assemblies are located in the AM-WorkFlow database with the "where-used" option. Direct scanning support will enable engineering departments to synchronize their legacy data with existing electronic data as they move from drafting on the drawing board to designing on the desktop. With the Internet Publishing Tool, AM-WorkFlow's Card View can now be transformed into HTML and published on the Web. Together with the AutoManager plug-in, the CAD drawings that are published on the Web can be downloaded and viewed inside the Web browser.
