June 2, 1998 New Products SynQuest Supply Chain Optimization Series The SynQuest Supply Chain Optimization Series solution, from SynQuest Inc. (Norcross, Ga.; www.synquest.com), optimizes planning and synchronizes execution for supply chain management. It dynamically links planning and execution in real time, and synchronizes all supply chain activities and resources. The software uses true optimization technology that allows manufacturers to model any supply chain configuration and design the best strategy for deploying assets, such as plants, warehouses and transportation. It helps organizations optimize profitability and strengthen competitive advantage by including financial performance criteria at all levels of supply chain planning. The SynQuest Supply Chain Optimization Series features graphical, 3-D business process modeling for ease of use and extended enterprise scalability. The series includes products for three levels of planning.
