(San Jose, Calif.; www.agilesoft.com) is a software solution for product configuration and change management that runs on Windows NT and Web client/server platforms. The software permits product definitions and changes to be published online simultaneously to suppliers, contract manufacturers, internal manufacturing groups, distributors and other business partners. Agile Workplace can be integrated with J.D. Edwards' (Denver, Colo.; www.jdedwards.com) WorldSoftware and OneWorld ERP products. The integration, developed by AMX International (McLean, Va.; www.amxi.com), permits users to exchange information between internal engineering and manufacturing departments and among all members of a global supply chain to support the J.D. Edwards supply chain management initiative. This PDM/ERP integration enables supply chain trading partners to conduct complex product change negotiations online while eliminating dual-entry of data.
