(Cambridge, Mass.; www.syncra.com) is a software solution that complies with the Voluntary Inter-industry Commerce Standards Organization's (VICS) supply chain collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment (CPFR) guidelines to facilitate shared planning information between customers and their suppliers. Syncra Ct enables multiple trading partners to collaborate on planning activities, including forecasts, replenishments and orders. Designed to handle the large information volumes associated with collaborative business practices, Syncra Ct will allow trading partners, each with potentially different planning systems, to share information with minimal cost and technological change to their existing applications. The software's interface notifies planners of significant changes in forecasts for a product and allows them to propose, track and measure revisions. The flexible software can be configured to reflect varying levels of collaboration between different trading relationships, enabling a planner to manage the forecasting techniques and replenishment terms specific to each partner. With Syncra Ct, trading partners can manage supply and demand plans for all products at all locations including retail stores, distribution centers, production facilities, and sourcing locations.
