Week of July 13, 1998 New Products AutoManager WorkFlow AutoManager WorkFlow 6.0 from Cyco International (Atlanta, Ga.; www.cyco.com) is a document management software product that now includes support for direct scanning, Internet publishing, near-line storage and archiving, and a new interface that provides a quick overview of the document database. The direct scanning support in AM-WorkFlow 6.0 enables engineering departments to synchronize their legacy data with existing electronic data as they move from drafting on the drawing board to designing on the desktop. The software is compatible with all the major scanning protocols, which allows users to batch or individually scan their original paper documents and add them to their AM-WorkFlow database. AM-WorkFlow permits publication of engineering documents on the Web. Together with the AutoManager Plug-in, the CAD drawings that are published on the Web can be downloaded and viewed inside the Web browser.
