Point.Man

Pivotpoint Inc (Woburn, Mass.; www.pivotpoint.com) has launched Point.Man 4.1, an ERP package that simplifies management of manufacturing, customer and financial data across plants, countries and business lines. Release 4.1 features enhancements to Point.Man's customer-centric functionality on both the front-end and back-end of the supply chain.
Among the enhancements are:
- WebLink Series - the sales order application is the first in the series. It allows customers, remote sales representatives or business partners to securely review the real-time status of their sales orders via the Internet. Additionally, it includes the ability to immediately request changes to a sales order via e-mail to an internal sales person.
- Service Management - an integrated module that completes the customer care cycle from first contact through quotation and sale to after-market customer support. Call Center activities such as problem assignment, automatic call escalation via workflow and e-mail, technician dispatch, expense and material tracking, and call and problem analysis are supported.
