(San Mateo, Calif.; www.division.com) is an interactive product simulation design tool that includes such enhancements as direct interfaces to Alias and SDRC's I-DEAS modeling packages; tight integration with the Metaphase and PTC's EPD.Connect PDM systems; improved ease of use, packaging and styling tools; and new tools for enterprise-wide communication. dV/MockUp enables manufacturers to create, interact with, manipulate, share, and analyze product designs. Using this software tool, manufacturers can analyze a proposed design's form, fit and function by creating a fully functional and accessibly simulated version. A new dV/Styling option allows concept engineers and stylists to interactively study surface form of the largest assemblies in real-time.
