Sequencia to Launch Procedure Manager Software

Sequencia Corporation (Phoenix; www.sequencia.com), a provider of automation solutions for process manufacturers, has announced that it will be launching new software in the third quarter of 1999 to help process manufacturers who have manual or only partially automated processes within their facilities. Sequencia Procedure Manager provides all of the advantages of batch automation, without requiring equipment or process upgrades. The software offers recipe management, batch tracking and operator logging by combining the recipe execution features of Sequencia's OpenBatch with the customer's standard operating procedure documentation to provide interactive, Web-based documents that replace paper sheets. The software also provides the option of incrementally adding process equipment automation as it is justified without changes to recipes or standard operation procedures.
