Week of May 24, 1999 New Products Smart Manager ERP Introduces Thin-Client Internet Access Smart Manager from Smart Shop Software (Chicago; www.smartmanager.com) now offers Internet access capability using the thin-client computing architecture of Citrix MetaFrame for Microsoft Windows Terminal Server. Integration with MetaFrame and Terminal Server provides unlimited access to Smart Manager from LAN, WAN, modem or Internet. It also extends the Smart Manager platform from the traditional Windows-based platforms to legacy systems, including DOS computers, UNIX workstations, Macintosh systems and any other platform with compatible Citrix Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) support.
