Week of June 28, 1999 New Products Honeywell Introduces Y2K Readiness and Remediation Services Honeywell Industrial Automation and Control (Austin, Texas; www.iac.honeywell.com) has introduced Year 2000 Readiness and Remediation Services for critical information technology (IT) resources such as networking equipment, workstations and applications from the year 1999 to 2000 and beyond. Services include Y2K Assessment, Y2K Remediation Planning and Y2K Remediation Implementation. Honeywell offers these services, which focus on third-party products, in addition to its existing portfolio of Year 2000 tools, services and support for the company's own products. Y2K Assessment Services provide consultation that includes a needs assessment, a risk analysis and development of a scope of work. Y2K Remediation Planning Services help identify costs and develop remediation procedures and checklists.
